Please take notice about an issue of critical importance to the health of the nation.<\/p>\n
“Codex Alimentarius” is a pharmaceutical-industry backed program that is poised to eliminate nutritional supplements from the market, on the unscientific auspice of treating nutrients as toxins. Unknown to many is the fact that Codex Alimentarius is based on the Napoleonic Code, which would override Common Law and forbid any natural health substance not explicitly allowed. This would allow the eradication of therapeutic-dosage natural health supplements, which over 80% of American routinely use.<\/p>\n
If Americans lose their freedom to use therapeutic-dosage natural health supplements to Codex Alimentarius, they will very likely vote out any members of Congress who faciliate such a loss of freedom of choice. As DSHEA showed in 1994, the power of the people is a sleeping dog.<\/p>\n
The United States Codex Office Policy violates US law which prohibits harmonization with international regulations which themselves violate US laws. See for example, Title 19, section 3512, 1997 with reference to DSHEA (which treats supplements as foods without any upper limits) and the FDA Modernization Act (1997 which excludes nutritional supplements from harmonization).<\/p>\n
