Text too small?

Text too small (or large)?

If you find the text in our website or newsletter too small, there’s something you might do to quickly fix it.

WINDOWS:
Hold down the Ctrl key and press the plus sign (+) key repeatedly. To shrink text back down, hold down the Ctrl key and press the minus sign (-) key repeatedly.

MAC:
Hold down the Apple/Command key and press the plus sign (+) key repeatedly. To shrink text back down, hold down the Apple/Command key and press the minus sign (-) key repeatedly.

DOESN’T WORK?
If this doesn’t work, it’s either because your browser or email software doesn’t respond to this command, or because the text you’re trying to change the size of is actually a picture of text, which is not resizable.

In this case, look in your browser or email software’s menu for an option to zoom text larger. Most all software has this option, and the keyboard shortcuts listed above just make it quicker to access.

WHY TOO SMALL TO BEGIN WITH?
Websites and email newsletters display text a little differently in every single person’s computer. Some folks have bigger text. Some folks have smaller text. Some folks have such and such a font installed and some folks have other fonts installed, and each font is slightly different in size than all others. The internet is not like a printed brochure where the text size is the same in every copy. But now that you know you can increase or decrease the text size yourself, it shouldn’t matter!
