It’s that time again! The Codex Alimentarius Commission will meet in Geneva from June 30 to July 4 and the Natural Solutions Foundation will be there assuming you send us. Early in June, General Stubblebine and I did two shows with Alex Jones on susccessvie days and a two hour show with Jeff Rense. They don’t pull any punches, and neither do we.
But you already know that if you’ve been a subscriber to the Health Freedom eAlert for several months or more. You know that Codex is an international commission created at the behest of the pharmaceutical industry.

You already know that, driven by the US, decisions are made which govern all internationally traded food – not just supplements (as some people believe) – which is more and more of what you are eating every day. So these decisions impact your health (have you noticed the astounding increase in chronic, degenerative diseases and the steady drum-beat of attacks on natural medicine and nutrition?) and your pocket-book (look at what is happening to the price of food and the cost of medical care – that’s devitalized, chemically polluted food’s impact on your body), to say nothing about your life and your family’s life.
Most countries actually believe the US propaganda saying that the US has such good food (NOT!), such good food science (NOT!) and such good food security (NOT!) that it is safe to trust the US leadership in these issues! Now that may be astonishing to us, but they have seen the world through US propaganda glasses.
The developing countries generally don’t have the labs and the man-power to do their own studies and set their own standards (although they have trained scientists who could do so if they had the labs!) so, devastatingly, they adopt the Codex standards and guidelines as their domestic regulations just as they adopt the FDA’s devastating regulations for their own FDAs. Doing so, they believe, will protect them from the devastating World Trade Organization (WTO) sanctions which could complete the destruction of their fragile economies already being carried out the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. Under the WTO’s rules, keeping bad (but Codex-approved) food out or trying to export food that does not meet Codex standards can lead to tremendous trade sanctions.

What these countries sometimes miss when they dine, so to speak, in Chez Codex, the multinational corporate kitchen, is that Codex is a tool to weaponize food.
Weaponizing Food
Take a deep breath and think about that concept. If you poison water, you’ll kill the people and animals who must either drink it or die without it. If you do the same to food, you’ll kill the people who must eventually eat it or die because they did not. But if you are the Pharmaceutical industry and you can make as many people sick as possible in as short a time (and, of course, you successfully criminalize your more effective competitor, natural, non drug remedies and treatments) then you can accumulate enormous resources while you are accomplishing what Henry Kissenger so bluntly identified as the first priortiy of US foreign policy: depopulation.
In the National Security Memo 200, April 24, 1974, Implications of world wide population growth for U.S. security & overseas interests, Dr. Kissinger proposed in his memorandum to the National Security Council that “depopulation should be the highest priority of U.S. foreign policy towards the Third World.” There was no meaningful dissent and his position has been implemented with increasing success since that time.
By 1974, Codex had been in full swing for 11 years. Codex, is a UN commission which regulates food that moves across international borders. It is jointly administered and funded by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) which are both private entities, in the style of the Federal Reserve. It has commodity (e.g., meat, milk, fruits, vegetables, fats, oil, fish, etc.) committees, committees on pesticide residues, how to measure contaminants, additives, nutrition and foods for special dietary uses, procedural, labeling and other committees which meet once a year and decide on how food is to be defined, produced, labeled, advertised, marketed, packaged and preserved. For the whole world.
The US is there, leading the pack. These decisions are brought forward to the annual Codex Alimentarius Commission where they are either ratified, advanced, returned to the Committees or, on rare occasions, overruled outright.
When the US shows up at Codex (and it participates in all the Codex meetings), the US Delegation is likely to be composed not only of FDA career bureaucrats like Barbara Schneeman, Ph.D., head of the FDA’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition’s Office of Nutritional Products, Labeling and Dietary Supplements, but of representatives from Monsanto and the Biotechnology industry, the International Grocery Manufacturer’s Association, pesticide companies, major food producers and other industry representatives as well as Department of Commerce employees.
To my knowledge, no other country mounts such enormous delegation or comes to Codex loaded for bear with interested industry members sitting on their National Delegations. Of course, the house is also packed with phony Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) who lobby for the industries that support and created them. There are, by the way, a few passionate and committed NGOs speaking for consumers, for health and, occassionally, for the environment. And, of course, the Natural Solutions Foundation is there as a Public Observer, developing global relationships and spreading real information about real options for health…
Such as the stunning defeat suffered by the corrupters of baby formula who were not allowed to add fluoride to infant formula because of our support of South Africa’s opposition at the Nutrition Committee meeting in Thailand in 2006. We asked our friends from the developing world to stand with South Africa and provided them with the scientific documentation they needed to do so. And they did. No normal baby, drinking infant formula will be exposed to added fluoride! We are very proud of that achievement, by the way. MAMA DUCK GOES TO CODEX
The general Codex process is that the US takes as its health-hostile, corporate-friendly official (and well-articulated) position supporting whatever the corporate BIGs want (that’s Big Pharma, Big Agribiz, Big Chema, Big Biotech and Big Medica) no matter how destructive to health, how deceitful to consumers or how blatant the wrongness of the position might be.
Then, as if the US were a crazed and destructive mother duck whose ducklings cannot bear being far away our dare being out of line, the ducklings start quacking the same song mama duck sings: Mexico, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore (usually), Malaysia, Indonesia and, on every issue except Genetically Modified Foods, the European Union.
Quack: irradiate all foods before they cross a national border (The US currently requires all fruits and vegetables irradiated before they reach super market shelves.)
Quack: forbid the sharing of information about the health benefits of food as “advertising” but allow advertising of empty, disease-causing foods to the world market
Quack: mandate the use of Monsanto’s recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone in cattle despite its dangers with no upper limit!
Quack: Permit insane levels of pesticides, animal drugs, vaccinations and antibiotics
Quack: Approve the use of pesticides so dangerous that they were forever banned by 174 countries (Stockholm Convention, 2001) and don’t require labels when they are used
Quack: Refuse to set upper limits on pesticide residues on whole groups of pesticides “to save valuable time at the Codex meeting” [sic!]
Quack: Double the amount of the heavy metal cadmium in white rice to allow industrial sludge to be used as fertilizer despite the pediatric and other epidemic of deaths through kidney failure that this will mean where rice is a weaning food
Quack: Support the unlabled use of Genetically Modified foods despite the dangers posed by these foods to the consumer’s ability to reproduce (!) or remain healthy
Quack: Support the US’s bid to reduce vitamin and mineral levels to such low levels that they have no measurable impact on anyone.
Quack: permit the use of genetically modified plants which produce high levels of nutrients which may be toxic rather than nutritional and
Quack: approve a document which says those false nutrients’ dangers should be determined through testing on human beings since lab animals and test tubes won’t show their dangers!

When you sit, as we do, in Codex meeting after Codex meeting and watch the predictable script played out, it is wonderful to see what impact our work with the developing nations is having: they are beginning to organize, come to a common position and then actually oppose the US and its corporate buddies. They have figured out that they actually do have a choice and the Natural Solutions Foundation is proud to help develop that awareness and sustain it through our educational activities in the developing world and in the intense pressure cooker that is a Codex meeting.
Codex is, fundamentally, not about profits and not about standardization so that industry can control the world’s food supply. In our estimation, Codex is about weaponizing food. Codex has no problem with food that causes sterility (like the GM corn patented in 2001 which makes a spermicide, rendering males who eat it permanently sterile).
Codex has no problem with food that causes life threatening (and very profitable) diseases including cancer and diabetes because its nutrient value is so low that it potentates the preventable non-communicable diseases of undernutrtion, defined by the WHO as cancer, cardiovascular disease, stroke, diabetes and obesity.
But Codex does have a problem with letting consumers know what they are eating (GMOs, for example) or with protecting consumers from known cancer causing and lethal additives, veterinary drugs and vaccines, pesticides, etc.
“DARTH CODEX”
We believe that Codex has the potential to become not the devastating global force that it is, but the greatest single force for human health that the planet has ever seen. What that will take, of course, is the developing world to transform the process and remake it in the consumer’s interest. Ultimately, these interests are ours since we all need to reclaim the food production and the quality of food to sustain ourselves and our loved ones.
GM FOODS SUIT CODEX TO A “T”
GMOs are a really good example of weaponized food with which Codex is more than happy. If GMOs were (as the US maintains, following a 1992 Executive Order signed by then-President George H. W. Bush) equivalent to non GMOs, then why do they deserve patents?
And if they were safe, why do hundreds of independent scientific studies show that they cause everything from sterility, lethal allergies, immune system dysfunction, cancer, to death of humans and animals?
The manipulated and manufactured food shortages around the world are being used to force acceptance of UNLABELED GMOs. Why? Why sell food that makes people sick and eventually kills them?

Perhaps Codex has moved beyond greed and the euphemistically named “population control” is the answer. (Did you know that the real meaning of the pretty word “sustainable” is, for the international organizations and globalists, “population control”?
Check out UNFPA’s 2002 “Population, Poverty Reduction and Sustainable Development: Selected International Resources” for an eye opening look at sustainability as a rationale for population reduction.
Perhaps Henry Kissenger’s now-famous statement, “Depopulation should be the highest priority of U.S. foreign policy towards the Third World.” is related to the relentless policy of the US to degrade and damage food on a global basis as much as the unswerving allegiance it shows to the interests of every food-related multinational corporation. If US Codex policy is related to the depopulation agenda (and we believe that it is), perhaps other US policies might be, as well.
TAKE VACCINATION –
NY COMPULSORY VACCINATION
Vaccinations are only profitable if they are administered to huge numbers of people but, once that condition is achieved, they are hugely profitable. We have been brainwashed very carefully to believe that vaccines are a part of our modern, safe and advanced life style.
When I look back at my own journey from an MD who believe that vaccines were useful, at least some of the time (I actually tried to find small pox vaccine for my son, born in 1974, when smallpox vaccination was eliminated in 1972 – I wanted to protect him!) to a fervent advocate of the lack of science for, and the huge amount of evidence against, all, yes, ALL, vaccines, I have a great deal of empathy for people who still believe that vaccines are protective (NOT!) and safe (NOT!) But I have no empathy whatsoever for those bullies who want to compel me and you and your kids and your grandkids and everyone else within needle shot, to take vaccines – and huge, insanely huge, numbers of them – when we do not want them, or adamantly choose to refuse them.
New York State wants to be that kind of bully. And, like every bully, New York State is a coward. Instead of taking its own responsibility in deciding which vaccines shall be part of the NY vaccine schedule, it has (illegally?) abrogated that duty to the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices so that whatever vaccinations they reccomend will become mandatory in New York State for all children!
The compulsory vaccination bill has not yet been introduced into the New York State Senate, but it has been carried forward in the lower house. While the bill provides for exemptions for students based on the “sincere” religious beliefs of the parent, where is a “sincerity test” written into the Constitution of either the US or New York State, by the way, and who decides what a “sincere” belief is or is not? The bill does not, however, provide the same exemption for health workers.
“But I don’t live in New York”, you might say, “So what difference does it make to me?” Well, the pattern is that when a trial balloon is floated and the controllers get away with it, the same balloon is cast in steel and become law all over the country either at the individual state levels or at the national level. The atrocious “ownership” of newborn babies’ DNA is a particulary disgusting, but instructive, illustration of this pattern.
Remembering that the Patriot Acts, BioShield and other federal legislation provides for compulsory vaccination –
– That service men and women have lost their right to refuse vaccinations
– That New Jersey has mandated annual mercury-laden flu shots for children (yes, there are reduced-mercury shots – 96% of the shots available contain thimerisol – and the rest still contain “traces”) and New York quickly followed suit
– That the new super-duper Avian Flu vaccine is being cultured in African Green Monkey Kidney Cells (yes, the same ones which are known to be contaminated with leukemia viruses and were used to disseminate that virus in who-knows-how-many Hepatitis B vaccine doses)
– That the WHO presided over the injection of smallpox vaccines in Africa, South and Central America laced with female pregnancy hormones which caused antibodies to those hormones, making the women permanently unable to bear children
– That the same vaccine is now being touted to young women in the US as a temporary birth control strategy
would you really like to be compelled to have who-knows-what injected into your body or that of your child?

SUSTAINABILITY ISN’T
POPULATION REDUCTION.
WHAT IS IT?
The Natural Solutions Foundation created the International Decade of Nutrition (http://www.naturalsolutionsfoundation.org/) to answer that question and solve the problem.
After all, we are about solutions – natural ones. And, by the way, when people ask about the impact of food for all on world resources, we respond that the single most effective way to reduce population, in every single culture in the world, is to educate and empower women. So sustainability includes education for women as well as men.
But first and foremost, we have to reclaim the production of food, putting it back into the hands of farmers and their communities, not the great globalist industrializers of food supply, who ride the Codex horse with such devastating effect economically and on health. Those farmers must have the techniques and technologies to grow clean, unadulterated food without harming themselves, the environment or their customers. And they have to have an economic advantage to resist the onslaught of the Biotech and Chemical, Drug and other global forces while feeding themselves, their customers and their communities.
To do that, we have rounded up technologies to enhance crop growth without any pollution whatsoever and are demonstrating their importance in, for example, two projects, one government and one private, in Benin, West Africa. Other African countries are lined up asking for access to the technology and we are working with them toward that end. By the way, your strong financial support makes this possible. But it became clear that we need more than just test plots with low tech, high impact solutions to world hunger. We need a demonstration project where farmers can come and learn (and teach us!) to farm without chemicals using these high impact strategies. They need to learn Zero Emissions farming to provide their own power and end agricultural practices which pollute the environment. They need to learn distribution techniques which will work in their cultural matrix allowing them to bring their goods to market sooner and in better condition without additional cost. They need to learn how to provide potable water without a water purification plant and how to sustain themselves in the absence of the endemic diseases they die from without the use of dangerous and costly drugs.
In short, we need a sustainable center to teach sustainable living. And we are creating it in Panama. We are in the process of acquiring the Valley of the Moonâ„¢ for real sustainability. We will build houses there, run an already-thriving coffee business (converting our coffee from conventional to natural (this year) to organic in two years to certified organic in 5 years!
We will raise plant and animal food on our farm school and create, with the help of Father Godfrey Nzamajo of Songhai, Benin, a totally sustainable, zero emissions, off the grid community.
People like me, who are not farmers, will be involved in other aspects of our work there, while, of course, we continue to run the Natural Solutions Foundation’s vigorous health freedom work! For example, I will be the Medical Director of an Advanced Health Center and Wellness Facility. Others in the community will participate in this activity, of course!
There will be an arts center, a community center, schools and so on. The Not for Profit Natural Solutions Foundation of Panama will run the Valley of the Moon and its for profit businesses including a health center and a very, very green construction company.
So, to me, real sustainability means reclaiming food production (and that includes organic urban gardens, supporting local clean food producers (also known as farmers!) and refusing to consume dangerous, damaged or deadly food. “JUST SAY YES!”
I mentioned “for profit businesses”. The first one is coffee. We will have magnificent, chemical free coffee from year one from the coffee plantation already in production.
We will sell our premium coffee, of course, but I want to ask you a question. If you knew that your purchase of a half pound bag of this outstanding coffee from one of the world’s finest coffee producing regions (this part of Panama), and you knew that purchasing it would support health freedom and give you a tax deduction at the same time, would you be interested?
