And the Beat(ing) Goes On!

How do you stifle or kill a movement? You choke off its supplies. And the supplies that the Health Freedom movement needs to prevail are
1. Communications
2. People
3. Money.

As you know, our communication was shut down recently when our site was locked by 1and1.com, our hosting company. Our site went down within hours of an email I sent out called "This is War!" detailing the very real and intentional genocidal agenda being used against you and me. After a great deal of effort on your part and ours, the site was back on line.

1and1 says the issue was a credit card not allowing a charge for payment. I have a great deal of difficulty believing that since the credit card is fine and when our webmaster put up a temporary page explaining the situation, his server, our site and all the other sites he hosts were hit with a DDOS (Designated Disruption of Services) attack which halted the minute he took our site down.

The site is back up now, sort of. It’s back on line EXCEPT FOR THE ABILITY TO
1. LET PEOPLE SIGN UP FOR OUR HEALTH FREEDOM ALERTS NEWS LETTER (people)
2. PLACE ORDERS ON THE ORGANICS4U STORE 3. See IMAGES OF THE PRODUCTS WE CARRY IN THE STORE ARE INEXPLICABLY MISSING.
4. MAKE DONATIONS ON THE SITE (although some people were able to).
So the tactic is very simple: cut off communication, cut off people being able to join the ranks of active, informed health freedom advocates and cut off financial supplies.
Well, thank goodness we have alternatives.

Are You a "Useless Eater"?

Thanks to all of you who are sending your emails of support, suggestions, Citizens Petitions and donations. And a special thanks to all of you who are alerting everyone in your Circle of Influence about the issues and this latest repost in the battle for health freedom.

To the other side we are all "Useless Eaters". If you are NOT a Useless Eater, this is your battle. If the people in your Circle of Influence are not Useless Eaters, it’s their battle, too. It’s everyone’s battle. Let’s use the reach that each of us has to make sure that we are being heard and having an impact!

You are the real health freedom warriors and it is because of you that we will prevail.

States Wrongs

I want to fill you in on some new fronts in the health freedom battle which are opening. You have to promise me, however, that you will take this as a series of opportunities for us to stop the other side in their tracks through the eternal vigilance which Thomas Jefferson promised us would be the price of our freedom, and not "go into a fetal position" as one of our health freedom warriors wrote that he sometimes wanted to do.

If you live in these states, GO TO SEE YOUR STATE SENATORS AND REPRESENTATIVES NOW! GO IN A GROUP AND MAKE IT CLEAR THAT YOU WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE WHO VOTES FOR THESE MEASURES TO BE RE-ELECTED. IF YOUR STATE CONSTITUTION ALLOWS, TELL THEM THAT YOU WILL MOUNT A RECALL CAMPAIGN AGAINST THEM IF THEY DO NOT GUARD YOUR RIGHTS IN THIS AND ALL RELATED ISSUES. INCLUDE THE GOVERNOR OF YOUR STATE IN YOUR LOBBYING AND GET YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS TO WRITE LETTERS OF PROTEST BY THE TENS OF THOUSANDS! Send the emails listed. Do not shrug this off. The state legislatures were used by the Rockefeller/Carnegie forces to destroy all medical systems but the allopathic or so called "conventional" one at the beginning of the 20th century. They are just as vulnerable to the same "market forces" today as they were then.
If you do not live in these states, WRITE TO YOUR STATE LEGISLATORS AND TELL THEM THAT THESE ARE DANGEROUS TRENDS WHICH YOU WILL BE WATCHING CAREFULLY AND LET THEM KNOW THAT IF THEY SUPPORT ANY SUCH LEGISLATION IN YOUR STATE YOU WILL TAKE IT PERSONALLY AND WILL TRY TO HAVE THEM REMOVED FROM OFFICE BY ALL LEGAL MEANS OPEN TO THE CITIZENS OF YOUR STATE.

The Minnesota Department of Health is
working on an amendment that will DELETE Rep. Abeler’s 3/15
patient consent amendment and ADD an opt-out dissent option.

In other words, as I warned a day ago, your personal and medical data can be transferred online to a central registry without your consent. Then if and when you find out about it and what it means, you will have to take measures to have the data removed (which will still behind data documenting your choice to opt-out), and to
make sure that every clinic, doctor, hospital or nursing facility doesn’t put it back on.

Here’s what this opt-out means:

1) If enacted as law, this law will set a precedent that says patient data can be moved and placed online without the consent or direct knowledge of the patient. This will only be the FIRST bill of its kind.

2) The burden will always be on you to figure out what’s going on with your personal information, to find out how to stop it, and to take action.

3) The health department thinks that your private data is their public data…or more accurately, they are trying to make it legally theirs. Their initial bill kept you completely out of the picture. This attempt to give you an opt-out still keeps them in control and you secondary in
the decision.

4) For the sake of "public health" you will have no right to keep your private data to yourself…or private.

Minnesota, by the way, has passed legislation which punishes doctors for not following pharmaceutical "treatment algorithms" by publishing their names on a website listing doctors who practice "substandard care" and reimbursing them less for their services than doctors who use drugs!

State Alert No. 2: New York

Before you read this next item, ponder this: Why is it that the Federal Government was so eager to pass a bill that says that no State in the US can have stricter food regulations for organic food than the Federal Government does (which are being watered down for the convenience of industry and the detriment of consumers) but it is fine for states to pass more restrictive regulations about nutrients than then Federal Government has in place in DSHEA, the 1994 Dietary Supplements Health and Education Act?

Hmmmmmm.

NY Bills Threaten Consumer Access – A Danger to All Americans

New Yorkers’ Access to Supplements Under Attack!

For release: March 15, 2007

March, 2007 – In the March issue of Nutrition Industry Executive magazine
(www.niemagazine.com), James Gormley reports that there are four new bills
in New York State that have been introduced by NY State Assemblyman Felix
Ortiz (D-51st District) – six if you count two companion bills in the NY Senate. These bills take aim at consumers by targeting all supplement
companies that sell into New York, which is virtually every manufacturer that exists….

The following is a list of the bills and what they entail:

Bill A3944 would require "that anyone selling dietary supplements that make health or appearance claims possess competent and scientific evidence substantiating those claims"; it would also require a warning statement on
the product label or "handout" if the product claim is not approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Bill A4014 would prevent school employees, especially coaches, from recommending dietary supplements to students and would require schools to warn students of the risks of supplements.

Bill A3357 would establish a dietary supplements safety committee that would, apparently, create "adequate standards and enforcement for
manufacturing, safety and effectiveness" of dietary supplements.

Bill A2068 would require labeling to indicate which products have been tested by the FDA for "purity."

If enacted, these bills would:

a.. Create a completely unnecessary layer of bureaucracy at the state level (attempting to usurp Federal powers)
b.. Limit consumers’ access, and interfere with their right, to important information about supplements
c.. Place an unnecessary economic burden on the nutritional and dietary supplement industry and its customers without providing any additional value to consumers.
These bills are not just bad for consumers of natural products—they are
bad for the state of New York.

For example, A3944 would promote a different, unwarranted, and unnecessary double standard for dietary supplement makers who sell products in New York.

The costs of compliance would drive up the costs of products for the millions of consumers statewide who depend upon inherently safe supplements for health and well-being. It would also force many manufacturers to relocate to other states, while those who remain would pass their greater costs on down to consumers, forcing those same consumers to, in turn, look
to other states for the supplements upon which they depend.

….At best, [these bills are unnecessary because sufficient regulations, enforcement and oversight already exist at the Federal level, like the
Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA).

At worst and realistically, the bills are burdensome and have the potential
to create a confusing and unfairly hostile environment for supplements in
New York State that would be used as a precedent for the establishment of
similar regulations across the country.
Although it is not up on the site as I write this, I have asked our webmaster to set up an email form you can use to write to your New York State Legislators. I will let you know when it is up and what the link is. In the meantime, write, visit, call an otherwise inform your State Legislators in the strongest of terms that this is NOT ok with you and that you expect your interests to be protected in this matter.

C’est la Guerre!

This sort of concerted attack will happen in more and more states, you may rest assured. But states are more vulnerable to public pressure than the Federal Government because it is easier to mount a local and ferocious campaign. Yes, we are going to have to do that, too. "C’est la guerre!", as they say in France: That is war!
