If you understand how to “read between the lines” a recent notice from Citibank (excerpts posted below) makes it crystal clear that the USA is on the brink of disastrous international currency controls — starting no later than January 5, 2013. The Natural Solutions Foundation has repeatedly warned that the Fiscal Cliff is about more than taxes and out-of-control Government spending and borrowing.

The Fiscal Cliff is, in reality, about the new regulations designed to stifle international transactions.

Please read the highly disturbing notification below which makes it clear that the dollar dies on January 5, 2013.

After that date, international wire transfers will not only be subject to regulations (including the 30% withholding tax), but apparently will be forbidden unless they are in the local currency of the country to which they are sent.

Transfers to certain countries are forbidden (e.g., Philippines, Columbia) and huge grey areas are indicated so that it is not clear that many transfers will take place at all.

Prudent people like you with families like yours are taking definitive steps during the remaining month of December, 2012, to move any assets they can off shore into meaningful investments before it is, quite literally, too late to safeguard their assets.
