Oops! Our mistake — you shouldn’t have to login!

Every now and then we make a typo in our email newsletter or blog which leads our readers to a page that asks them to login, or create a login, or something similar involving usernames and passwords.

We apologize for this mistake, but the only time anyone using our site should need a password is if they’re updating their email newsletter email address. If you’re not specifically trying to do this, and the site is asking you to login, please understand that you had clicked on a link that was a typo to begin with. We’ll usually issue a correction in a following email.

Thanks for your understanding!

Broken link in an email?

Before giving up or telling us about the broken link, it’s possible that the link is good but that your email reader is not reading the link correctly.

If the link is very long and is broken up into two or more lines, you might try copying and pasting the pieces of the link into your browser. Make sure not to introduce any extra spaces when copying and pasting. If it still is broken after trying this, then do tell us — it may have been a broken link to begin with.
