We have decided to offer people with powerful tools that they can use to protect health and health freedom. The HealthFreedomUSA.org campaign is about you, not us. It is about the millions of Americans who care for natural health.

Keep in mind that it was grass-roots action that pushed Congress into passing DSHEA by unanimous Congressional consent in 1994. It is doubtful that every member of Congress suddenly had a miraculous conversion in which they understood that supplements and herbs were food.

In 1994, it was we, the People, who let Congress know that we were determined to maintain our access to health and health freedom. It’s time to do the same thing in 2005 because our protective legislation such as DSHEA is now being undermined due to Codex Alimentarius.

The key is to spread the word about HealthFreedomUSA.org (through email, and through face-to-face conversations).

Codex Alimentarius is tyranny. Once you “get” Codex, and understand what it means to you, you’ll want to spread that flame of understanding rapidly. Dr. Laibow has researched over 16,000 pages of documentation related to Codex Alimentarius, and she has done the hard work of extracting the facts. The Internet

The Internet allows the rapid dissemination of information, and it allows calling people to action almost instantly. A quick click lets you tell your circle of influence about HealthFreedomUSA.org (use our “Email to Friend” buttons to good effect). And if they in turn tell their circle of influence, word can spread like wildfire. The Internet makes standing up to tyranny possible like never before in the history of humanity.Internet activist pioneer Joe Trippi, campaign manager for the 2004 Dean for America campaign, has written an excellent book called “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised”. In it Mr. Trippi shares the breath-taking story of how the Dean campaign used the power of the Internet to take Howard Dean from a “nobody” to a serious contender in the 2004 presidential elections. Using the Internet to reach hundreds of thousands of Americans, the campaign raised more money than heavy-weight John Kerry!

Trippi shares his optimistic vision of the future, where democracy is taken back into the hands of the people thanks to the organizing power of the Internet. He writes:

In fact, when you contact Congress to tell them that they must protect what is important to you, they do listen. A single email or phone call counts as the opinion of thousands voters in Congress. So your voice matters.
