US Presidential Election Tuesday…
and the Prospects for Health Freedom

Here we go again… acting like “We, the People” actually elect the US President. Astonishing, isn’t it? This year more than any previous election, the truth is that MONEY elects the President – a billion dollars this time. That’s $1,000,000,000.
And it doesn’t matter which of the “major” candidates wins, the current oligopoly of the Bigs — Big Business (including our usual suspects, Big Finance, Big Pharma, Big Agra, et al.) and Big Government represented by the FRB, FDA, FTC, Codex, et al. stay in power. Do you imagine there will be “change” this time just because one face (or wardrobe) or another “wins”?
Here’s an example of an article published yesterday about the “major” candidates and Genetically Modified (GM) products. Tell me if either of the Senators (or the other Senator and Governor who might fill the Presidential shoes) is going to be able to address your righteous indignation regarding GM “Franken Food” and other atrocities?

“Obama:

  • Believes GM plants are beneficial with tests for environmental and health effects and regulatory oversight.
  • Supports law requiring meat product labels to indicate country of origin.
  • Wants to increase funding for the National Organic Certification Cost-Share Program to help farmers afford compliance.

John McCain wants to:

  • End all farm subsidies “not based on clear need” and cap subsidies to farmers with an adjusted gross yearly income of $250,000.
  • Direct US Department of Agriculture to develop more drought-resistant higher-yield crops

Well, the Natural Solutions Foundation did ask all the presidential candidates that are on sufficient state ballots to, in theory, be elected what are their positions on health freedom.

We asked by fax (and over 93,000 thousand of you joined in that campaign).
We asked by email, several times.
We called and reminded the campaigns.

We got answers, but not from the “major” candidates who do not apparently believe that your health freedom is an issue of any major significance.

The responses we got were from what Dr. Ron Paul called “the Principled Parties” who joined in the breakthrough “New Paradigm Platform” in September of this year.

Animal Chipping (NAIS), Data Base to Become Mandatory Despite State Laws and Farmer’s Wishes

According to word just in, the USDA, an organization just as irresponsible and industry-driven as the FDA, has decided to make the National Animal Information System or NAIS mandatory despite laws which prohibit it in four states. Preferences of farmers will have no impact on the database building and, apparently, on the required chipping of animals with RFID chips.

In order to get this email blast to you before the election, we will defer our piece on this important item until our next blast. Watch for it and be prepared to take action. Whether you are a farmer or not, a pet owner or not, you know full well that if mandatory chipping for animals goes over, mandatory chipping for humans WILL be next.
