Natural Solutions Foundation is an international NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) – committed to discover, document, develop, demonstrate and disseminate natural solutions to the problems and challenges facing us all. The goal of this Talking Points document is to educate decision makers, potential patients and parents regarding the significant dangers of vaccination and the right of people to refuse unwanted medical treatment.

1. Lack of Scientific Support for Vaccination

There is no significant scientific agreement, based upon disinterested clinical trials, that any vaccine is either safe or effective despite massive dis-information to the contrary. Science contrary to the prevailing pro-vaccine myths abound. For example, see Geier DA, King PG, Geier MR. Influenza Vaccine: Review of effectiveness of the U.S. immunization program and policy considerations, J American Physicians and Surgeons 2006 Fall; 11(3): 69-74 which clearly shows that the flu vaccine has no effect.

Despite frequent references to it, there is, in fact, no such thing as “herd immunity”: if vaccines worked, the vaccinated would be at no risk from those who choose to forgo any particular assault on their immune systems. It is not the unvaccinated who are a threat to the vaccinated, but, since some of the vaccinated shed infective viral particles, it is the vaccinated who are a threat to the vaccine-free!

2. Vaccination is a Medical Fraud and has been since its inception. For a review of the sordid and distorted history of vaccinations, see Dr. Rima E. Laibow, MD’s essay, http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/docs/Syringe_of_death.pdf – furthermore, vaccines are an uninsurable risk.

3. Vaccinations, although without medical benefit, are highly profitable ONLY IF THEY ARE ADMINISTERED IN HUGE NUMBERS.

Like many other regulated drugs, vaccines are inherently dangerous to the recipient, hence the need to regulate them. Unlike the protections afforded consumers of all other drugs, Congress has stripped Americans of our right to redress for vaccine injuries. This means that the drug companies profit from vaccines while not bearing any of the costs of the harm that is a foreseeable result of the foisting of these dangerous substances on the public. The Federal “Vaccine Injury Compensation Program” [VICP] only compensates a small percentage of actual vaccine deaths and injuries, and this “tip of the iceberg” has paid out more than $2 billion dollars over twenty years. The VICP awards are generated by a special tax (not on the drug-pushers or manufactures) but, instead, on those who are required to purchase vaccines.

4. The US Supreme Court stated, in the 1905 case which allowed people to be fined if they would not accept a vaccination in a declared public emergency, that the Courts would intervene if there were a showing that vaccines were harmful. Vaccines have now been shown to be harmful and therefore the Courts need to remember what the Supreme Court said over a century ago: the judiciary is “competent to interfere and protect the health and life of the individual concerned.” Jacobson v Massachusetts, 197 U.S. 11 (1905)

5. The public is increasingly exercising its right to reject mandated vaccines or any mass vaccine program.

Over 3.5 million emails to decision makers rejecting the Swine Flu Vaccines show deep public distrust of any Federal Government program, like the 2009 plan to vaccinate every American with Squalene-laced H1N1 vaccines, where the Government buys the vaccines, then “approves” the vaccines (for a novel virus, without safety testing), then “recommends” the vaccines (which leads to state governments mandating same) and finally distributing the vaccines at 90,000 locations around the country, none of which are required to meet Good Manufacturing Practices regulations, although they would be assembling vaccines at non-pharmaceutical sites for consumer use.

6. The Health Freedom Amendment is necessary to protect individuals who do not give voluntary, informed consent to medical treatments such as mass vaccination. The Health Freedom Amendment

1. No individual (including a minor through his or her parents) may be denied, by any person or agency acting under color of law: Access to any desired health care services, including those known as standard, conventional, alternative, advanced or complementary health care services, with fully informed consent; Access to all health care information for which there is at least a scintilla of evidence; Access to food, food components, contents or substances, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, herbs, pro-biotics, pre-biotics, their precursors and metabolites; such components, content and/or substances may be offered with, or associated with, claims for their health benefits, without prior government approval and without limit as to mode of application.

2. No individual (including a minor through his or her parents) shall be exposed to genetically modified or degraded food without his or her consent. Such protection shall take the form of mandatory detailed labeling declaring significant alterations in the nature and composition of the food including, but not limited to, genetic modification of any sort, introduction of foreign DNA of any sort, irradiation in any amount, all pesticides, herbicides and fungicides and similar chemicals used at any stage in the production of such food.

3. No individual (including a minor through his or her parents) shall be subject to involuntary medication (including vaccination) or any other involuntary medical treatment. Any individual, if exposed to a public health hazard which poses a bona fide contagious public threat has the right to self-shield at home with appropriate material support to make such self-shielding effective. Such self-shielding shall be carried out for the minimum period of time necessary to control the public health hazard or contagion.

The Food Freedom Amendment

We strongly urge decision makers to consider adopting the Food Freedom Amendment to redress our grievances. This amendment can be added to pending bills, or adopted by the national or state legislatures as a separate law, to protect the people.

Maybe, if Congress wants to criminalize distributing things that are harmful to the public… maybe it should criminalize “knowingly” introducing dangerous drugs (including vaccines) into commerce! Like Vioxx, Avandia, Flu Vaccines, Bextra, for a very few examples, But, then, there might be a lot of drug company executives and maybe even some FDA officials who would face criminal charges… Certainly, we need to continue to oppose S.3767, Sen. Leahy’s bill that could criminalize commercial speech about food (or at least food distributed in interstate commerce), whenever FDA or FTC decides subsequently that the claims about the food were not substantiated to the liking of some bureaucrat. Companion bills like S.510 (the fade “food safety” bill) and S.3002 (the discredited “dietary supplement safety” bill) that would be “enforced” by the criminal sanction bill must also be stopped both in the 2010 lame duck congress and the new congress convening in 2011.

The “serious” harm amendment (HEN10891) added to S.3767 by the Judiciary Committee on September 23, 2010 is not sufficient to protect food distributors from bureaucratic and criminal harassment.

We the People, need protection against over-zealous regulators who will destroy small producers while big companies can afford the legal talent needed to escape penalties.

Instead, our communities need to be protected by law from Federal Government interference in local and natural food production and distribution. We need a Food Freedom Amendment, such as we proposed last year when the House was considering its version of S.510 and which we have continued to urge; the state and federal legislatures need to adopt this language:

Food Freedom Amendment

“No provision of Federal Law giving regulatory oversight to any Federal department or agency shall be deemed to apply (a) to any home, home-business, homestead, home or community gardens, small farm, organic or natural agricultural activity, (b) to any family farm or ranch, or (c) to any natural or organic food product, including dietary supplements, as protected under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994.”

Food Freedom is part of Health Freedom, and an essential part of the Liberty that all free people have a right to expect. Legislators have a responsibility to protect that freedom from the bureaucracy they foist on us. Local oversight of local food production would be far superior to big govt poking into all our local activities. Reducing central govt power would enhance the overall health of our society.

Wide Use, Including Republication, With Full Attribution, is Encouraged

Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) are called by industry, “biotech products” because identifying them clearly as GMOs arouses vigorous rejection by consumers and independent scientists. Their detractors call them, “Frankenfoods” after Frankenstein’s monster. By any name, however, they violate several major principles of food science, biology and sound regulatory principles.

1. The ‘Precautionary Principle’

A principle of law in the EU and public policy in the US, The precautionary principle states that if an action or policy has a suspected risk of causing harm to the public or to the environment, in the absence of scientific consensus that the action or policy is harmful, the burden of proof that it is not harmful falls on those taking the action….
 

[Under the Precautionary] Principle there is a social responsibility to protect the public from exposure to harm, when scientific investigation has found a plausible risk. These protections can be relaxed only if further scientific findings emerge that provide sound evidence that no harm will result. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Precautionary_principle

The Precautionary Principle is violated in both FDA and USDA regulatory structure and practice leading to failed protection and serious threats to the well-being of both human health and the environment.

  • Novel products must not be introduced into the market, especially unlabeled, so that their identities are hidden from consumers, without some reasonable showing that the products are not dangerous to the health and safety of the consumer or environment.

  • There is no such reasonable showing. In fact, all independent science shows considerable risks and dangers in the use of this technology, both current and future.

  • FDA has permitted widespread introduction of novel GMO products without any significant safety testing requirement and is forbidden from pursuing its own safety testing of GMOs.

  • FDA prohibits the identification of GMO products or ingredients and makes identification of products which do not contain GMOs or GMO ingredients very difficult for manufacturers.

  • Accurate identification of problems caused by GMOs is now impossible since more than 90% of the US food supply is made of GMO products or ingredients and no identification of these items is possible because of FDA policy and permitted unidentified food contamination.

  • USDA regulation allows unmonitored and unsecured field trials of pharmaceutical and other modifications in plants and animals.

  • USDA admits, in its own reports, that it cannot keep track of GMO trials or prevent contamination of non-GMO crops, animals and the food supply.

  1. The ‘Truthful Labeling’ Principle.

 
Under US law, products in the marketplace must have labels which are truthful and not misleading.

  • FDA permits GMO products and ingredients while forbidding that information from being revealed on the label or elsewhere.

  • Dr. Barbara Schneeman, US Codex Alimentarius Delegate, told a Codex meeting (Oslo, 2006) that the US forbids GMO labeling because most Americans would reject GMO products if so labeled.

  • “Organic” foods are understood by the consumer to be free of GMO contamination. USDA regulation permits an unlimited amount of GMO contamination and admixture without identification of that contamination.

  • FDA forbids companies from honestly labeling their products “GMO Free”, a position which is directly contrary to US Law. In Thompson v Western States Medical the Supreme Court held that the government does not have a legitimate interest in preventing people from making what the government believes to be “bad” decisions with truthful commercial information.

  1. The ‘Rule of Reason’ Principle.

The reasonable person (historically ‘reasonable man’) is a legal fiction of the common law representing an objective standard against which any individual’s conduct can be measured. It is used to determine if a breach of the standard of care has occurred, provided a duty of care can be proven. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reasonable_person

This Principle is violated by a number of FDA, FTC and USDA Practices

  • No reasonable person would willingly subject him/her self, family or unborn descendents to uncontrollable genetic manipulation with unknown consequences.

  • FDA and USDA allow economically powerful and politically well-connected companies to continue to plant GMO crops and produce GMO animals (regulated as “animal drugs”) despite their already-known, and as-yet-uncharacterized, impacts and dangers.

  • GMO crops contaminate heritage, conventional and organic produce with their novel genetic materials and proteins. Every year their patent holders sue farmer’s for “trespass” when patented DNA invades the fields and bodies of plants and animals whose owners do not wish to grow GMOs, but whose land and flocks/herds are contaminated by the unwelcome intrusion of such GMO material.

  • Foreign DNA creates super bugs and pests which are resistant to known methods of control, but which induce farmers to use increasing amounts of the pesticides and herbicides to which their creating companies have made them resistant when they were genetically modified. The result is increasing chemical use and decreasing control.

  • The human body, and the probiotic, beneficial bacteria upon which it depends for immune and nutritional integrity, has no evolutionary experience and therefore no ability to detoxify GMO genetic material, bacterial markers and other GMO contents, nor the increasing exposure to toxic chemicals that the GMOs were deigned to withstand, through food, water and air exposure.

  • The insertion of foreign DNA into the bodies of humans, bacteria, plants and animals threatens the long-term integrity of the human genome and normal functioning of the human immune system.

  • No scientific studies show that GMOs are either safe or benign while all independent science shows that they are dangerous for the consumer and the environment.

  • Although the FDA accepts a principle of “substantially equivalent”, GMOs have never been shown to be substantially equivalent since their DNA is substantially different.

  • GMO feed transfers foreign DNA into the animal consuming it and then into humans consuming it.

  • The impact of foreign proteins, different in different cells of the same body, coded for by foreign DNA, is unknown.

  • The cost of DNA seeds and animal use permits or licenses can be set at any level, changing the economics of food production substantially, to the disadvantage of the small or independent farmer. Hundreds of thousands of cotton farmer suicides in India attest to the dangers of this public policy.

  • Most GMOs are created in order to confer resistance to heavy chemical input. The chemicals are therefore used in greater abundance leading to increased contamination of soil and water and decreased crop yield, according to the consensus of scientific evaluation of GMO technology on food and farmers.

  • Every independent study conducted of GMO impact and safety shows massive health and genetic problems including, but not limited to:

Reproductive: Infertility and Sterility, Fetal Death, Sexual inability and sterility in offspring, Fetal Abnormalities in Offspring, Neonatal Mortality, Low Birth Weight, Failure to Thrive;

Immunologic: Damaged Immune Competence, Auto Immune Diseases, Cancer, Enhanced Allergenicity, Even to Previously Non-Allergenic Proteins Leading to Lethal Allergic Responses Previously Either Very Rare or Unknown;

Bacteriological: Marker DNA conferring antibiotic resistance is inserted into GMOs. This marker DNA transfers not only to human and animal DNA, but to bacterial DNA as well, creating new classes of antibiotic-resistant DNA and new diseases;

Pathophysiological: Small Kidneys, Punctate GI Walls and Membranes, Hair Growth on the Mucosal Surfaces of the Body;

Neurological: Reduced Adaptability, Problem Solving, Low Weight Brains in Fetuses and Neonates.

4. The Principle of ‘Local Control’. Local control over local activities, such as food production and consumption, should be in the hands of local consumers and producers through local regulations if they so desire.

  • FDA seeks to impose fake “food safety” standards to nationalize local production and impose GMO products on unwilling communities

  • High Carbon Footprint foods traveling long distances encourage loss of nutrients, require chemical and other treatments to forestall

  • GMO seeds cannot be saved legally so farmers are prevented from using ancient cost-saving, and stock-improving practices

It’s Time to Educate the Candidates
HEALTH & FOOD FREEDOM TALKING POINTS

The House passed the so-called “Food Safety” bill, HR 2749, in July 2009, sending it to the Senate where it is being considered as S. 510. After your strong Push Back opposition, a companion bill, S. 3002, touting so-called “Dietary Supplement Safety” was abandoned by its own sponsor, Sen. John McCain. HR 2749’s criminalization of true food health-related speech was left out of S. 510 but S. 3767, with an unprecedented extension of criminal penalties for “food crimes” was rushed forward in the last days of the September Senate session to correct that “oversight”.

The Senate HELP committee “marked-up” S. 510 and the Manager’s Amendments revision was sent to the Floor just as the Senate went into recess, with the threat that the bills would be pushed after the Election by the ‘lame-duck” Congress.

You and I know that these bills, both S. 510 and S. 3767, must not pass. To rush them through the lamest of lame duck sessions is a true abuse of power.

Despite Congressional maneuvering, to make them into “non-controversial” bills that can be rammed through via “Unanimous Congressional Approval”, these bills remains very controversial and should reconsidered by the new Congress being elected this year. The Congress is in recess, campaigning for their own, or party members’ reelection — so NOW is the time to educate those new members-to-be and NOW is the time to get their public commitment to support health and food freedom!

We, together, can do that by visiting your candidates and incumbents, especially the Senate ones, with groups of people who all come armed with the following “Talking Points” and who discuss them rationally, briefly and very, very directly. Print out one Talking Point copy for each member of your group and half a dozen for the Congressman or candidate and his/her staff. And mention that you are part of the largest Health Freedom Organization in the world. As I write this, there are more than 305,000 supporters on our primary list. Each of them has contacts and are willing to share this information to preserve our health freedom.

Boian Alexandrov, of the Center for Nonlinear Studies at Los Alamos National Laboratory, however, has a very decided opinion regarding the dangers of T-rays: He tells us that T-rays tear apart human DNA.
Alexandrov, and his team at Los Alamos, say that although the forces that T-rays exert are small, their resonant effects can “unzip” DNA strands, tearing them apart, thus creating bubbles in the strands that significantly interfere with gene expression and DNA replication.
